We launch OXAGON - A new region in NEOM, Saudi Arabia

We are proud to have produced a first-class launch event for OXAGON – an innovative city space based on high tech sustainable living at the heart of the emerging NEOM region of Saudi Arabia.

The launch marked the first-ever large-scale event to take place in NEOM – a $500billion emerging tech-enabled region in the Tabuk province near the Red Sea. OXAGON is NEOM's modern answer to the traditional industrial city – it will run on 100% renewable energy, produce zero liquid discharge, house a water desalination facility, and only allow 100% alternative fuel vehicles within its confines.

​On arrival, guests were escorted to the launch venue – a purpose-built temporary structure in the heart of OXAGON – where we used cutting edge technology, including a 20,000-pixel wrap-around LED wall, to create an immersive and unforgettable experience. This included a water-curtain light show, projection mapping, a bespoke dining experience, and a world-class drone show at sea that was revealed to the audience by raising an entire facade of the LED wall.

The launch of OXAGON demonstrates Imagination’s unparalleled ability to create meaningful and innovative in-real-life brand experiences, which will be of increased importance in a post-Covid world, and is an example of the company’s continued growth in the Kingdom. The event follows a series of business wins for Imagination in the region, as well as the recent opening of Imagination Saudi Arabia.​
