To launch Football manager 2024, the teams at McCann London and Xbox decided to give a small team a helping hand, by connecting them to a community of armchair soccer experts: gamers. After a global hunt, they selected one gamer to join Bromley FC's backroom staff, to lend his knowledge of football tactic and strategy to the team. TNT Sport followed the ups and downs in a documentary and Bromely had its best season since 1892. From a commercial perspective, it was also the most played version of Football Manager ever, with a 190% increase in players on Xbox. Winner of the Cannes Lions Enterainment Lion for Gaming Grand Prix 2024.
