Huskies produced a series of videos for Fáilte Ireland that capture some of the individual highlights of the Wild Atlantic Way. The trail along the country’s west coast is awash with incredible scenery and we wanted to give people a glimpse of what the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer by exploring these places and talking to the locals. In this video, we discover the Skelligs, a group of two islands that lie west of the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry. The larger of the two islands, Skelling Michael, is the site of ancient monastic ruins that are said to be over one thousand years old.
