People and brands that are perfect for each other. Which is how, as a continuation of their worldwide Stay True Cities campaign, Ballantine’s called on
Spitfire Film Director, Sound Designer and Music Producer JT to create their latest documentary showcasing two of Pitori’s hottest DJs.
Sons of Soshunguve and Ga-Rankuwa, Mellow and Sleazy found each other through their love of Bacardi and Amapiano and they haven’t looked back since. While JT’s love of merging music, visuals and sound design to tell stories with a striking/gritty/vibrant style really shines through in this five minute mini-documentary for Ballantine’s and #staytruecities.
Living the work is what comes naturally to JT, whatever the project. You could say that working with extremely talented people and brave clients is music to his ears. Take a look for yourself. And then contact us to see – and hear – what JT can do for you.
“Where there’s a screen, there’s an opportunity.” When Spitfire Films was established a decade ago by Executive Producer Liesl Karpinski and Director AK, this was a statement of intent designed to disrupt the existing production model. And Spitfire has been doing it successfully ever since. South Africa’s first 360º content production company, Spitfire has collaborated closely with the industry’s top advertising agencies and clients to create some of the country’s most effective – and engaging – content.
From TV and cinema commercials, and hugely successful interactive digital campaigns (KFC “Shakin”), to activations for Fox Crime, Insta stories for Mumm Champagne, and SA’s first interactive horror film with Facebook Live for DSTV, Spitfire has created outstanding work for every kind of content. And built a reputation for fast turnaround times, excellent value, and high creative standards. Standards embraced by our grassroots talent who are in the process of becoming Spitfire shareholders.
But it’s the work itself that speaks the loudest to Spitfire’s intent. And talent. Please take a look.
