KFC Thailand is celebrating its 40th anniversary by collaborating with Thai born superstar, BamBam Kunpimook to create the BamBam Box, a menu item designed and packaged by BamBam himself.
Suhayl Limbada, CMO of KFC Thailand, said, "This significant collaboration between KFC and BamBam is a special gift we intend to offer to all KFC fans.”
Working with Johannesburg-born ad agency, Bananas, Brains and Brawn and Carbon Films director Bruno Bossi, KFC introduced the BamBam Box in their latest film titled “two legends become one. The film creates a symmetry between two iconic creators, The Colonel and BamBam.
“We wanted to capture a side of BamBam that hIs fans aren’t used to seeing. What is he like off camera, backstage or while rehearsing? Tapping into this allowed us to create a more authentic and original expression of the idea”, says Carbon Films director Bruno Bossi.
The film launched on April 25th and made an immediate impact, trending at #2 globally, leading to the highest number of app downloads and app orders in the history of KFC Thailand.
Carbon Films is a director focussed film production company based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Founded in 2015 by director Bruno Bossi and Executive Producer Kirsten Clarence, with Mzonke Maloney joining as partner in 2020, Carbon Films has won multiple awards both internationally and locally.
