What were we proving?

Pinterest is a visual inspiration platform, a place to unearth ideas and discover favourite creators with access to shoppable products personalised to each individual's taste.

Think.

It was our job to pique delegates' interest to use Pinterest as a marketing and advertising tool, through Pinterest’s naming rights sponsorship of the conference.

Deliver.

We curated a beautiful stand, using a range of tactile materials brought in from all around the world. Here the Good on Paper trend was brought to life in partnership with the talented Kitiya Palakas, a multi-disciplinary designer with expertise in crafting for global brands.

On the stand, we offered tattoos, nail art, hair styling and cocktails and free spirits to demonstrate the latest Pinterest trends and evoke many conversations.

One of the most anticipated events of the conference was the All the Raves and Mush-rooms inspired Pinchella Welcome Party. To welcome back the rave culture, Pinterest brought Coachella to Cairns. Headlined by King Stingray, it was held in a unique naval oil storage tank container venue – a throwback to the original rave days.

Pinterest’s opening keynote speaker, Zoë Foster Blake is a trailblazer and founder of Australian skincare line. She encapsulated Pinterest’s vision perfectly through her entrepreneurial approach and experience in creating relevance between trends and brands.

The week-long activation ended under the stars and on the beachfront at Palm Cove working with chef Nick Holloway.

Magnify.

1500+ leaders from the advertising, marketing, media, and PR industry attended the event.

Results.

• 1200 through our stand across the conference
• 57 permanent impressions with real tattoos
• 80% of survey respondents has an awareness of Pinterest’s commercial offering and 60% of respondents are likely to consider advertising on Pinterest
