Jordan wanted to tell the design story of their iconic Air Jordan’s that inspired the brands new kit partnership with PSG. All while speaking to the brands cultural impact and inviting the brands loyalist audience in.
Insight + Strategy
When first released, the elephant print stood for creativity, flare and skill as the brand's name sake wore the print while changing the face of basketball. Building on that history, this kit launch signified a new era for the iconic print, the Jordan brand and Paris Saint Germain. As PSG built a new team with a distinctive Parisian flare we wanted to create a campaign that paid homage to the origins of the print, while bringing it into the modern day.

We created an editorial campaign that celebrated the heritage of the brand while remixing the original Elephant print campaign featuring Michael Jordan and Spike Lee in 1988. We worked with the PSG icons of today: Kylian Mbappé, Danilo Pereira, Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Vitinha, and the new rising star Warren Zaire-Emery to create a campaign that nodded to the iconic origins of the print while starting the next chapter of it.
