Roche - Lightbulbs

We produced both still images and animation to support the multiple sclerosis campaign. The full production brief included VFX work as well as modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and comp.

The award-winning disease activity lightbulb campaign visualizes the neuron deterioration of MS sufferers. To accompany a series of stills, we created a cinematic animated journey through a lightbulb forest and edited it with motion graphic sequences. We needed to create a large atmospheric but vacant environment, where countless flickering bulbs are seen swinging. The Hero bulb would burn out and the neurone fracture and crumble.
