PitPat - We Got You
Fast-growing pet tracker company PitPat needed a sharp new 30″ spot for TV, online and to feature at trade shows. Smart, fun, bursting with personality and relatable scenes for dog owners, the hero TV spot was shot in a fortunately sunny gap in drab autumn weather, with 3 adorable pups and a host of handlers and set vets!
To bring PitPat’s “we got you” proposition to life, we created the ‘hug’ roundel graphic, which surrounds the happy owners and their dogs, showing a sense of warm protection, but also of community as owners meet up. This carries across the TVCs, socials posts, statics, website and digital display ads.
Having deliberately overshot footage on the original shoot (to produce How To and product feature video edits), we were able to tell a new, simpler story with just one of the dogs for refreshed DRTV ads the following year, adding in a new animation sequence and screen-capture VFX.
I'm a commercials director and creative executive with 20+ years experience in filmmaking, marketing, advertising and digital media. I've directed, produced, written and ideated everything from big budget TV ads to online series and social content, from influencer marketing, infotainment, animation, comedy sketches and branded entertainment.
I'm passionate about creating stuff people WANT to watch and would be proud to share, helping my clients to stand out from the crowd.
I have also worked professionally as an, actor, editor, art director, producer and as a writer for BAFTA-winning series The Armstrong & Miller Show (BBC), Me & My Monsters (Henson Company / Tiger Aspect) and Psychob*tches (Sky Arts), amongst many others.
