Kameda's Kakinotane is a snack with a blend of spice rice crackers and peanuts at 6:4 ratio. Although it is the best-selling snack in Japan and has become "the National Snack", it was not considered as "my brand" among people. There was also a strong image that it was an older man's snack that always goes with beer. That's why Kakinotane needed an effort to appeal more to women and young people -- to have them think of this product as "my snack".
