After a decade, America’s favorite serial killer was returning to SHOWTIME. We had to establish Dexter: New Blood as the most anticipated TV event of the year. In order to do that, we needed to reawaken his rabid fandom and inspire them to create a conversation-fueled frenzy and generate FOMO among the uninitiated. We fed starving superfans a trail of breadcrumbs to study and dissect, leading to an in-season feast of exclusive content that honored the story, characters, and creators, making our social handles a go-to place for real-time discussion. Our campaign successfully drove major buzz amongst talent, the press, and our loyal fans. Dexter: New Blood became the most-watched series in SHOWTIME’s History.
