Color of Change - Sekou Andrews & The String Theory | Love Says
In 2020, when George Floyd was killed, Sekou Andrews found the words we’ve been struggling for. With the help of Optimist LA and director Mischa Meyer we turned our song into a strong visual art piece. We are so proud of this GRAMMY-nominated song that won six Clios.
“Our cities are burning. Our hearts are broken. The knee of racism is once again crushing the windpipe of black America. I’ve had enough of hearing what Hate says. Will you join me in sharing with the world what ‘Love Says’?”
This poem is for the fighters. The ones who are fighting for love. The ones who are running toward the fight to stop it.
