Last year, Spotify unveiled Frequency, a global initiative and holistic destination for celebrating Black art, entertainment, creativity, culture, and community both on and off the platform.
Even/Odd, working in collaboration with Spotify's in-house creative team, produced a film that spotlights the music and culture of California, North to South — featuring artists Vince Staples, Victoria Monet, Joyce Wrice, Guapdad 4000, Hitboy, and Duckwrth.
Director Keenan MacWilliam helmed the second installment in the series, “Frequency Sunday Dinner: Bay to LA” — which serves as a starting point to explore the California music scene deeper on the platform.
