David O'Loughlin

David is our much-loved CEO and the strategic force behind KWP+Partners. His career spans over three decades and three continents, starting in the early ’90s at Young & Rubicam Adelaide across strategy, media and account management. From there, he took his talents overseas, first to London with Banks Hoggins O’Shea, then to Toronto as Head of Strategy at Dentsu Canada, and later to Chicago with Ogilvy & Mather.

In 2002, he returned to Australia to join TBWA Melbourne, eventually becoming National Strategy Director in Sydney. A few years later, he stepped into the role of National Head of Strategy at Saatchi & Saatchi. After 16 years away from Adelaide, David returned home in 2011 as Director of Marketing & Communications at the South Australian Tourism Commission.

In 2014, he rejoined the private sector with KWP+Partners and now leads the business as CEO & Chair. Outside of the agency, David is a director or the South Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and a Director of both the Adelaide Fringe and the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation.
