Yung Lean Pushes Boundaries for Babyface Maniacs Music Video

Family Production and Frenzy are back with another collaboration: Yung Lean’s Babyface Maniacs music video.

​Last fall, they teamed up to push creative boundaries even further. Previously, Family Production made production service for Frenzy in Kyiv and now, Family expanded to Lisbon, Warsaw, and pop-up locations across Eastern Europe, depending on the project and brief.

One of the results of this new wave is a music video for Yung Lean (Jonathan) for the track Babyface Maniacs, shot in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

Our previous collaboration was a commercial for Banque Populaire, with the production service made by the Family Lisbon office.

“The music video for Yung Lean was an incredible experience. We became a real team, everything was created with a lot of love and synergy”, says Anastasia Bukovska, Family’s executive producer.

​The shooting took place in Chisinau, Moldova. Family managed to set a pop-up production, which became an adventure for the whole crew. Besides the artist, the most important person for the team is always the director. And Suzi and Leo inspire to make the impossible possible. Their creative tandem with DOP Erik Henriksson always turns into incredible videos.

​With Jonathan and his amazing manager Valter, we spent a week in tight preparation, searching for solutions, and rock and roll. Family transferred the whole truck of lighting equipment from Kyiv, the scale of which was not yet seen in Chisinau. The crane, the height of which allowed to light up the entire set an create the right atmosphere, became a real highlight of the project. The heads of all departments, Family’s regular team members arrived from Kyiv to show their experience in a completely new territory. In terms of distance, there are 469 km from Kyiv to Chisinau.
