To help achieve Xfinity’s vision of becoming a real digital playground, Xfinity is launching a new, permanent in-store gaming tool to keep its consumers engaged and informed.
The Unbeatable Internet Games are a series of five video games launching in 200 of Xfinity’s retail stores nationwide to make consumers’ shopping experience more fun while helping educate them about Xfinity Internet solutions. Created by IPG creative company Elephant, the easy-to-play games challenge customers to match the capabilities of Xfinity’s Unbeatable Internet.
“We focused on bringing together the Xfinity brand design and product features into a playful digital store experience,” said Chris May, chief creative officer at Elephant. “We wanted to give visitors the possibility to explore Xfinity Internet’s unmatched performance in an intuitive and memorable way.”
Available on iPads within the Internet Zone of the store, games include ‘Defend Your Devices’ (Advanced Security), ‘Supercharge the Signal’ (Wall-to-wall WiFi), ‘Discover the Device’ (Network Health Check), ‘Match the Speed’ (Flexible Plans), and ‘Catch the Connection’ (Supersonic WiFi). Each is reminiscent of classic games customers of all ages know and love, helping them learn about Xfinity’s internet service, xFi in the process. The games also create a conversation starter for Xfinity’s Retail Sales Consultants, who can connect over this shared experience with new and existing customers.

Instead of viewing Xfinity Retail as a place to solve things, like tech issues, returns, or bill payments, we want our customers to think of Xfinity as a real digital playground – a place you want to go to, not just a place you have to go to.”
