Woodwork Music partnered with Wieden + Kennedy New York on two of the new Ford Explorer commercial films. Director Steven Ayson shot one lead 60 second and two 30 second spots infused with wit and humour about elite explorers caught up with the everyday life emergencies.
Matt Mulvey, copywriter, said: "music was the backbone of this campaign. It was crucial that each spot opened with the drama and sophistication you'd find in a movie score, then had the restraint to stay elevated, even as the visuals drifted off into the mundaneness of everyday life. Phil Kay’s ability to strike this balance was a key part of bringing the idea to life creatively."
