Stacey Bird and Jack Croft, who formed part of Wonderhood’s first major hires in 2018, have been promoted from creative directors to Deputy ECDs.
Stacey and Jack joined the agency almost six years ago as senior creatives from 4Creative, Channel 4’s in-house agency.
Over the following six years, Stacey and Jack have been behind some of Wonderhood’s most award-winning and effective work. The duo created a film for Comic Relief on the unifying kindness of the British public at a time of great division, helped Nike celebrate the 93 players that changed the face of English football, captured the nation’s hearts and tear ducts with great swathes of Brits ‘crying over Branston pickle’ and explored pioneering cancer surgery in Macmillan’s premium branded factual series Super Surgeons: A Chance at Life.
Stacey and Jack’s success saw them pick up accolades at British Arrows, Campaign BIG and D&AD, to name a few. They were also pivotal in Wonderhood seeing its early growth, helping bring in key accounts such as Mizkan and Three UK.
Stacey and Jack were promoted to creative directors in 2020. Since then, they have been creative directors on campaigns such as ‘Homeless Christmas Dinners’ for The Soup Kitchen London, and most recently, Starling’s The Bank Built For You.
In their new role as deputy ECDs, Stacey and Jack will oversee the creative direction across many of Wonderhood’s key accounts, including Starling, Hargreaves Lansdown and Belazu. They will report to Wonderhood’s co-founder and chief creative officer, Aidan McClure.
Aidan McClure said, "Jack and Stacey are brilliant and we love them to bits. I couldn’t imagine Wonderhood without them".
