Known for his comedic timing, Burnett has worked with many acclaimed directors

Acclaimed editorial company Whitehouse Post welcomes seasoned film and commercial editor Mark Burnett to their roster. Known for his comedic timing, Burnett has worked with many acclaimed directors including Rattling Stick’s Hamish Rothwell and Biscuit Film’s Matt Dilmore editing spots for top brands such as Toyota, Cadbury, Vigorsol, The Guardian and Stella Artois. Burnett just wrapped a segment and teaser for popular horror film ABCs of Death 2, and is already busy cutting several spots at Whitehouse’s offices in Soho.

“We’re thrilled to have Mark on board,” says Whitehouse Post Partner and Editor John Smith. “He’s a versatile editor with a wide range of work under his belt, his quirky and comedic style is a great addition to our lineup.”

Hailing from Sydney, the Australian native has been fine-tuning his craft at boutique post-production houses around the world, including Post Office and The Editors in Sydney, and Speade and Tenthree in London. Burnett has garnered numerous International awards and honors including a Gold Cannes Lion, CLIO, UK MVA, British Television Advertising Arrows, and Best Editing at Flickerfest. In 2012 his documentary Shut Up and Play the Hits was featured at Sundance, and more recently, Burnett collaborated on Jared Leto’s directorial debut documentary, Artifact.
