WHEXT Announces Date and Finalists for 2021 Edition

APRO and FilmBrazil announce the finalists of the 2021 edition of WHEXT. In order to promote the Brazilian advertising audiovisual, analyze the market and discuss the future, the festival will be held on December 3rd with online transmission, carried out by Clapme, and in person awards at the Galleria42, a space that is part of the studio complex, the 42Estudio.

With the support of Spcine – a public company that promotes cinema and audiovisual, which is part of the São Paulo City Hall – the British Government and Oncare Saúde, WHEXT will be held in a hybrid format. The programme will be transmitted virtually by Clapme, but the finalists will be physically present at the awards, having been previously tested and upon presentation of a vaccination passport.

"For the panels, we will keep the same format as the last edition, with part of the participants in the studio, some with remote participation... but for the audience the transmission, it will be online only. We are excited about the content for this year, which will be released soon and will have the presence of international and national speakers," explains Marianna Souza, president of APRO and head of WHEXT.

The health and safety protocol of the event was created in partnership with Oncare Saúde, a WHEXT partner. The company will be responsible for testing all participants involved in the event.

WHEXT AWARDS

During October, the associated members of APRO and FilmBrazil indicated the professionals who stood out the most in each of the 09 technical categories.

The jury composed of national and international professionals will soon be released together with the finalists in the categories of Direction / Executive Production / Audio Production.

The award also brings a new category for 2021, "New Talent".
