Jenson Button is best known for his speedster antics as a world-class Formula 1 driver, but recently he's been leaving the fast cars in the garage to enjoy a different kind of race. He's been getting involved with triathalon as a way to run, swim and cycle his way to supporting charity. Who better to test his mettle against than World Champion triatheletes the Brownlee Brothers?
Bigballs' director Alex Haines joined Jenson and the Brownlees at the Human Performance Lab, a cutting edge facility at GlaxoSmithKline. The team measured the sportsmen's lung capacity, physiological efficiency and cognitive skills through a series of tests to find out how they measured up. And, as the tests took place shortly before Jenson Button headed to Singapore for the recent Grand Prix they even added a little humidity into the mix to find out how he'd copy in the local conditions.
