HP Sauce UK is launching a Facebook campaign to support the annual month-long men’s health charity initiative, Movember.
Working with We Are Social, HP Sauce will help raise awareness of the moustache-growing initiative and encourage its fans to get involved in Movember through four weekly challenges.
Starting from 1st November and taking place every Friday throughout the month, HP Sauce will introduce a different task for its fans, challenging them to show off their moustaches. Fans must upload their pictures to www.facebook.com/HPSauceUK, with five stand-out photos being selected each week to receive a digital sketch of their picture by The Gallery of Mo. Four of these entrants will receive a £100 donation to their Movember fund, and the photo deemed the best by the judges will receive a £250 donation.
At the end of the campaign, an ultimate winner with the most impressive Mo photo will be selected as the face of HP Sauce’s Movember campaign. Their Mo sketch will be featured on next year’s HP Movember bottles, sold all over the country.
In addition, fifty winners will be picked randomly each week to receive a £25 donation to their Movember fund. A content strategy will support the campaign to generate conversation and encourage HP Sauce’s online community to sign up for Movember.
Shane Shortman, senior brand manager, from HP Sauce, said: “Movember is a charity that we’re extremely passionate about, so we always encourage our community to get involved with the initiative. While it’s in aid of an important cause, Movember is also about having fun, and the campaign reflects this.”
Sophie Crossley, senior account director at We Are Social, said: “People already enjoy sharing Movember photos on social media - we want to tap into this to help spread the Movember cause even further. The opportunity to have your face featured on an HP Sauce bottle doesn’t come along very often, and we’re looking forward to seeing some impressive moustaches over the next few weeks!”
