Wavemaker Asia-Pacific Scales Up Strategic Expertise to Positively Provoke Growth

Wavemaker Asia-Pacific is scaling up strategic expertise within the regional team to positively provoke growth for its key multimarket clients. These include Mondelez, Colgate-Palmolive and AXA. Alongside the existing team, these senior hires bring transformative strategic capabilities to its clients across the region.        

The two newest APAC strategy partners within the growing strategy team are Pranay Singh and Andras Knodel. As the Wavemaker strategy lead for Mondelez, Pranay's return to the agency network is a homecoming, having previously been a key member of the Wavemaker Indonesia leadership team for four years. Pranay will lead strategy for Mondelez across Wavemaker’s APAC remit in India, SE Asia and ANZ / Japan.

Meanwhile, Andras Knodel has relocated to Singapore, as part of Wavemaker's mobility program, from Wavemaker Taiwan where he led strategy for the agency. Andras takes on responsibility for AXA as well as supporting the regional strategy community.

They join James Wong and Rylie Huang who last year joined the Colgate-Palmolive’s Asia-Pacific hub in Singapore designed specifically to support the client’s business transformation agenda. Alongside the rest of the Colgate team, they develop strategy and audience planning for the region across the brand’s product portfolio, and lead execution through the outstanding Performance practice established over recent years. The brand’s most recent Colgate campaign was ‘Free Your Smile’, an initiative to celebrate the removal of one of the last mask mandates in Singapore, a fresh take on the global ‘Smile Strong’ campaign.

Working together with Darko Lin, APAC head of audience planning, and James Boardman, APAC growth strategy partner, they collectively drive Provocative Planning, Wavemaker’s modular approach to provoking growth for our clients fuelled by the most comprehensive suite of data and technologies in the industry.
