Water of Life Flows in ICONSIAM Centre's 'The Confluence'

ICONSIAM, a new world-class commercial venture on the banks of the Chao Phrya River, has launched their first ad titled 'The Confluence'.

The 1-minute film celebrates the unification of Thai culture from past generations to present day, highlighting the cultural richness and beauty of Thainess and using ‘water’ as a symbolic narrator of the film.

The work is a result of the collaboration between famed director Mike Warr, of Film Factory, and BBDO Bangkok.

“Water is the source of life and was the perfect element for us to use to help symbolise the transfer of Thai heritage from one generation to the next while also giving the feeling of growth and prosperity,” said Suthisak Sucharittanonta, creative chairman. “Water also perfectly matches with The ICONSIAM’s location, which is set alongside the iconic Chao Phraya river,” he added.

Through the symbolic representation of water and the artistic direction by Mike Warr, along with stunning costume design by Prapakas Angsusing, a famous Thai designer, 'The Confluence' shows Thainess on a whole new level.
