The Hipster Shore is comprised of a group of eight hipsters living in one house in Silverlake who drink beer and dedicate their days to living, being and doing their art.
Are hipsters artists? Well, the answer to this question will not be found in their July 4th clip but you will be laughing too hard to care.
The hilarious cast of Hipster Shore call themselves Family Sandwich, and they are a sketch group from Los Angeles whose comedic styling brings the perfect tone to this satire about hipsters.
In honor of July 4th and safety first Family Sandwich and Aero Film's director Jason Farrand bring us back to the shore…, I mean Silverlake to remind us that boozing and biking are a combination with consequences amounting to a small fine. Farrand has finely crafted this video which reminds us that although Hipsters are a sort of undefined group they are serious about their art, beer and responsible binge drinking and they rarely smile.
With a group as talented as Family Sandwich and Jason Farrand, whose comedic timing is abundantly clear in his direction of the clip, it is no wonder that the video spent the entire holiday weekend on the front page of gut-busting website Funny or Die .
The next time you take a drink and unchain that two- wheeler remember what you learned from The Hipstore Shore on July 4th. In their own words, "Cycling under the influence (CUI) it's kind of a serious offense you guys".
