New brand identity focuses on the 'U' to emphasise the importance of the consumer's life

venturethree, the global brand company, has developed a new brand for Uswitch, the UK’s leading switching service for energy, broadband and mobile.

Instead of the conventional focus on price, products and process, the new Uswitch brand puts people at its heart and celebrates the benefits of switching. Built on the idea of ‘You, powered’, Uswitch shows how, by choosing better products and services, people can get more of what matters to them - without hassle or extra costs.

In a market that often resorts to gimmicks to get people’s attention, the brand is confident, yet warm, human and authentic. It reaffirms Uswitch as the place to go to for the best advice, helping people make the right switch decisions.

The new brand platform is also a remarkable example of collaboration between brand and product teams. venturethree worked closely with the Uswitch design team throughout the process to test, iterate and refine the brand for optimum performance and customer journey, SEO and online conversion.

The brand identity heroes the ‘U’ to emphasise the importance of ‘you’ the consumer, and the benefits that switching can bring to your life. In Helvetica Now and with a paired-back, accessible, colour palette, it is designed to appeal to a wide range of customers and aims to be WCAG AA+ compliant.

venturethree developed the brand strategy, brand experience, visual expression and tone of voice. The new brand launched with a multi-channel advertising campaign developed by Joint. Over the next few months, the brand will be rolled out across their entire platform, marketing communications and within their customer service centres.
