Two New Hires at Big Spaceship

Big Spaceship, a Brooklyn creative agency, today announced the hires of Craig Marrano as Director of Production and Kara Masi as Senior Producer, effective immediately. Reporting to Managing Director Ranae Heuer, Marrano will be tasked with overseeing all production across the agency’s clients. Masi will be tasked with partnering with clients and collaborating with the Big Spaceship “crew” to drive processes and ensure larger projects and initiatives run according to plan, reporting to Marrano. All are new positions at the agency.

Marrano joins Big Spaceship from R/GA in New York, where he served as an executive producer for client projects including Wal-Mart and McCormick’s.  Prior to R/GA, Marrano worked for MRM Worldwide in New York as a program manager, servicing a wide range of clients such as MasterCard, Maybelline, Nikon, Wendy’s, Bertolli and GM. 
 

Masi is a former freelancer and will continue her position as a digital project management and content strategy instructor at Mediabistro.
 

The agency has also hired April Kandel and Julia Parris as producers supporting more senior team members across a variety of client initiatives. Kandel joins Big Spaceship from Time Inc., where she worked as a marketing solutions manager and Parris joins from Major Robot Interactive, where she was also a producer. Both Kandel and Parris will report to Marrano.
