Daniel Mitchell and Meredith Aylward join

Searle Street Post has signed editors Daniel Mitchell and Meredith Aylward.

“We’re now able to offer a true one-stop post production stop for commercials in Cape Town,” says Searle Street Post’s creative director Heino Henning. “By having offline editing alongside our online and VFX facility, we can save our clients both time and money.”

“It’s been amazing to be plugged into Searle Street Post’s integrated HD pipeline,” says Daniel. “Everything I need is all just there and so quick. It’s taken out the distance between offline and online; having the online team right here allows us to speak everything through, create priority lists, and make sure no one has unrealistic expectations about what will be done in each stage.”

In addition to being set up for traditional workflows in Baselight and Flame, Searle Street Post’s offline suites come with Resolve for grading and AFX for motion graphics.

Heino says, “This allows us to offer a true one-room solution for the quick-turnaround, lower-budget jobs. When clients combine all our services – including DIT and on-set data management, offline editing and the final grading and online – we are able to tailor very attractive financial packages.”

Searle Street Post reps Daniel and Meredith in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. Both editors are also available for onset editing.
