62ABOVE, the San Diego-based integrated marketing agency, unveiled its first advertising campaign for client Visit Anaheim. Titled ‘Here We Go’ the campaign celebrates the imagination found throughout the destination and invites people to come and discover the many exciting and unexpected experiences found only in Anaheim.
The ‘Here We Go’ integrated campaign is brought to life through a series of videos and digital ads targeting leisure travellers and group/meeting business travel. 62ABOVE featured nearly 20 hotels, attractions and restaurants from across Anaheim in the campaign. ‘Here We Go’ was created based on visitor insights that show there is a huge, post-Covid demand to get out, explore and try new things. The campaign focuses on the variety of only-in-Anaheim experiences visitors can enjoy.
“Anaheim is best known for Disneyland and there is so much more to the city than that,” says Greg Carson, president of 62ABOVE. “62ABOVE used a data-driven approach to understand the ever changing demands and desires of likely travellers and then married this with our deep understanding of all that Anaheim offers to create this energetic, call-to-action in the form of the ‘Here We Go’ campaign.”
The ‘Here we Go’ campaign is an open invitation for visitors to come and explore the myriad attractions of Anaheim. It captures the animated spirit of the city and sparks the excitement of a trip where, in addition to visiting one of the happiest places on Earth, tourists can have a whirlwind adventure trying new and unique experiences across the city. The campaign assets showcase something for everyone, from watching the Anaheim Ducks to sipping cocktails at Top of the V restaurant.
“Our collaboration with 62ABOVE proved to be successful and we are excited to show visitors, through the campaign, how Anaheim and Orange County have evolved in a post-pandemic environment,” says Sue O’Shea, senior director, marketing at Visit Anaheim. “‘Here We Go’ perfectly captures the anticipation and possibilities of a visit to Anaheim and Orange County and all the hidden gems guests will discover.”
