Touching Spot Celebrates All the People It Takes to Save a Life

When Hans went into cardiac arrest two years ago, a whole chain of people stepped in. Hans's wife, Lea, called the emergency services. Hans’s neighbours, Johan and Jørgen. fetched a defibrillator. A whole team of paramedics got Hans safely to the hospital. Many other lives stepped in to save Hans’.

This is the subject of the new film from new-land and &Co, directed by new-land co-founder Casper Balslev, for Trygfonden, the Danish healthcare organisation.

Shot in a warm, humorous style by DoP Manuel Claro, the film was edited by Rasmus Dyrholm and features sound design from frequent new-land collaborator Brian Dyrby.
