Toni Higginbotham Casting has now expanded to both Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Starting out in television drama on 'A Country Practice' at only 17, Toni Higginbotham went on to personally cast Cate Blanchett in her first mini-series 'Heartland,' Simon Baker in 'E Street,' and Geoffrey Rush and Sam Neil in 'Frontier' all before she was 29. From casting director at the ABC, to reality TV, drama series, short films and TVCs, Toni has a breadth of experience across all platforms.
Toni Higginbotham Casting opened its doors in Sydney’s Woollahra nearly 20 years ago, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after commercial casting agencies. Still operating from the very same premises, Toni has now expanded to both Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Given her success casting some of the largest Australian, American and European campaigns, it was only a matter of a time until she launched nationally.
Over the years, her campaigns have been awarded at Cannes and AWARD, to name a few. In 2010, Toni won the 1st Gold Pencil at AWARD for casting VB 'Regulars,' the only casting director to ever win a Gold Pencil for a campaign still to this day. More recently, she brought the Samsung VR experience to Cannes Lions 2016. She also received a nomination at Cannes in 2017 for Apple iPhone’s first Australian TVC 'First Dance' whereby Toni undertook a nationwide casting search.
