Nurofen reveals the causes of headaches in the UK in a new digital and social media campaign.
The digital campaign, which was created by TMW Unlimited, includes an online film showing a day in the life of a headache in the UK.
To inform the video, TMW Unlimited tracked social media and Google searches to find out what people are blaming for their headaches, such as traffic delays and too much work. Google was enlisted to run a similar search on its search engine. The phrases that were mentioned the most were used in the film and supporting campaign activity.
The film explains that the real source of headaches is not external stresses and annoyances, like bad wifi or screaming toddlers. Headaches come about when the muscles in the head get strained. Nurofen targets these muscles fast, the ad says. The end line is: “Nurofen. We see headaches differently.”
The 35-second video will run on YouTube and a specially created campaign hub. A 20 second cut down will be used for digital outdoor sites.
