Leagas Delaney has added to its creative department by hiring the Dutch creative and copywriter Timo Klaarenbeek. Klaarenbeek moved to London from Amsterdam last year where he worked at Blutarsky and then Grey Amsterdam. Timo will focus on the agency’s digital creative output and will report to Leagas Delaney Creative Director Nigel Roberts.
In Holland, Timo won awards for clients including Ubisoft and Pink Ribbon magazine and also deliberately set fire to a fashion store as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the safe use of Christmas lights.
Nigel Roberts said: “I’m really pleased to have Timo in the agency thinking about how we can help our clients from a digital perspective. He’ll also be in charge of putting up the Christmas lights.”
Timo Klaarenbeek said: “I’ve always admired Leagas Delaney and when Nigel offered me the chance to join his creative department I was there in a heartbeat.”
