BOLD's Michael Lawrence directs an impactful and very moving new film about a breast cancer survivor, for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the ‘Run For The Cure’ campaign.
The spot, through the agency Cundari, Toronto, was based on a true story of a friend of the agency and adland producer - They even shot the domestic scenes in her family home.
Michael’s decision was to shoot this project solely in the first person prospective which gives the film a hugely empathetic perspective on the sufferers experience. The raw nature of shooting in POV pulls you inside the protagonists world and coupled with the heart wrenching score, you’re taken along a very emotionally turbulent and real journey.
