This Haunting Promo for Courtney Barnett Will Give You Chills...

Animator and illustrator Celeste Potter has created a scratchy, monochrome monsters' ball in her latest music video for Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett. Up-and-coming musician Barnett recently impressed the crowds at Coachella and played on Jimmy Fallon. The emotional and wistful track 'Anonymous Club' has given rise to Potter's vision of lonely monsters looking for a connection as the wander through a deep, dark wood. And although stylistically and narratively very different from the Maurice Sendak classic, the promo also has something of 'Where the Wild Things Are' about it. The video was produced by Melbourne-based animation company XYZ Studios.
