The Talent Business and D&AD Launch 2018 Festival with Judges’ Welcome Dinner

Last Saturday some of the most high-profile creative leaders from around the world attended the launch dinner of the world’s most respected celebration of creativity: The D&AD Professional Awards and Festival. The dinner for three hundred guests, held at London’s Beach Blanket Babylon restaurant, was co-hosted by The Talent Business and attended by key industry figures including:

Also attending the dinner were the delegates from RARE LDN – a masterclass programme in partnership with Google and Berlin School of Leadership, aimed at supporting diverse emerging leaders from film, fashion, arts, commercial design, products and services design

D&AD celebrates and nurtures outstanding work in the design and advertising industry each year with it’s international creative awards.  The dinner was the kick-off event for the judges arriving into London from around the world for the start of D&AD Professional Awards Judging and Festival, running across the week.

During the dinner Tim Lindsay, D&AD CEO and Tanya Livesey, Global Head of Creative Talent at The Talent Business gave speeches to welcome the judges. 

As well as the Professional Awards, D&AD aims to cultivate new talent.  Through initiatives such as New Blood Shift and RARE LDN - D&AD supports and develops diverse talent from entry point into the industry through to aspiring leaders.
