The Sweet Shop continues its global growth with the announcement of a creative partnership with Paris-based Premiere Heure. The move will make The Sweet Shop’s roster of top directorial talent available to the French market.
The announcement comes shortly after The Sweet Shop launched its new operation in South East Asia and announced the signing of creative studio/directing collective, Special Problems.
With offices in Los Angeles, Auckland, Sydney, Bangkok and London, as well as an award-winning film department, the introduction of this new venture expands The Sweet Shop’s European reach. Alongside it’s existing partnership with Big Fish in Germany, The Sweet Shop is now uniquely placed to deliver the same level of executive leadership and seamless client service the company is known for around the world.
The Sweet Shop’s partnership with Premiere Heure acknowledges the shared commitment of both companies to high craft filmmaking, premium story-telling and delivering local expertise to every market.
“It’s been our experience that clients feel more comfortable when someone is there on the ground,” said Andy Traines, The Sweet Shop’s Managing Director in the US. “When there is a local point of contact that speaks the language, it builds a sense of security about the project.”
“With communication and commitment assured, our clients and directors can concentrate on what their real goal is: making the best work possible,” continued Executive Producer Tracy Mays.
The Sweet Shop’s roster of directors is available under its own label within the Premiere Heure stable, with Guillaime Larose as its dedicated producer for both production and talent management.
