The Hive Expands Its Analytics Footprint as Allied Effect Joins the Fold

Industry veteran Jeremy Molnar becomes the agency's new chief data officer

The Hive, a proudly independent agency based in Toronto, continues its rapid expansion with the addition of analytics firm Allied Effect to its team. Using data-driven approaches to help clients maximise their business outcomes, Allied Effect and its tools will be integrated into The Hive's client service offering going forward. This will allow The Hive to provide an enhanced suite of data and analytics to clients, in service of growing customer lifetime value. 

"As we continue to transform our business, the importance of real-time data and analytics has never been more important," said Jared Stein, president, The Hive. "Today's announcement will not only help keep us accountable with clients, it will give us a new range of dynamic options for measuring performance levels of the work we do every day, and its impact on our clients' business." 

As part of the integration, Allied Effect founder Jeremy Molnar will be joining The Hive as its first-ever chief data officer. This leadership role will see Jeremy work closely with Hive clients, acting both as a strategic business lead and trusted advisor in the areas of measurement and performance metrics. 

"The Hive has been bringing next-level value to its clients for years and I can't wait to be part of that legacy," said Jeremy. "A strong understanding of data and analytics is essential for the business leaders of today, and I look forward to working with our family of clients to understand, build and optimise what data-driven success looks like for their brands." 

Jeremy founded Allied Effect three years ago. In the years since, he has provided his analytics expertise to Xplore, Open Circle Benefits, Weight Watchers (WW) and other top brands. Jeremy previously worked at Aimia as its VP of Analytics and CRM. He also spent more than a decade at Rogers Communications in various roles, including director of CRM Evolution and director of Enterprise Advanced Analytics. 

Jeremy has already been working with several Hive clients in recent months, designing growth service models and ecosystems. Now, as a full-time member of The Hive team, Jeremy will be focused on expanding the agency's analytics approach and making data-driven a core competency across the agency.
