The Essential List: Guilad (Gil) Kahn
Gil Kahn founded Aasia Productions in 2008 and has spent the last 15 years growing his Singapore based production company into one that is dedicated to producing the best work they can.
Before he decided to expand into TVC’s, series, features and corporate videos, Gil spent the first half of his career covering worldwide disasters and conflicts. He produced award winning news and documentaries, the most notable being the Oscar nominated “Burma VJ”.
After making the move from high intensity new reporting and investigational journalism to the somewhat calmer life of TVC, he has worked on projects that cross multiple genres for clients such as National Geographic, Netflix, TLC. Lexus, Unilever and Samsung.
