The Digital Short That's Helping NHS Staff Stay Protected

During the Coronavirus pandemic, the lack of PPE for hospital staff has been a big talking-point. Subsequently, people at home have turned their hand to sewing, stitching and sticking to help solve this issue. To raise awareness and funds for the 'The North London Scrub Hub' - a group of volunteers using their skills to help with the current shortage of scrubs - a director at NERD Productions has produced a short video, encouraging people to get involved any way they can.

A member of NERD Productions said: "Covid-19 has stricken a few members of the NERD family, but we will not let the virus have the last word! Peque Varela is our latest talent who teamed up with North London Scrubs in making this brilliant piece to raise awareness in raising funds to dress the NHS. North London Scrub is a group of volunteers who have taken their passion for sewing to support with the recent shortage of scrubs available for healthcare professionals."
