The Countdown Is On: All Clearance Stages in The Clearcast Library

In February, Clearcast shared its plans to combine all stages of the clearance process into The Library and permanently close down CopyCentral. Since then, its hosted webinars to show how it will look and feel, and shared info about the new process and its benefits.

Clearcast have now announced the dates the switchover will take place and shared some handy resources to help you transition from CopyCentral to The Library.

Switchover weekend clearance closure

Clearcast will be switching the systems over from 5pm, Friday 16th August, to 9am, Tuesday 20th August, 2024. During this time, you won’t be able to access any Clearance services on CopyCentral, or The Library. 

If you already have a log-in for The Library, you can continue to use the same details. However, if you only submit scripts through CopyCentral and therefore don’t currently use The Library, you’ll need to self-register before the switchover.
