The Chemistry Works (TCWX), a collaborative agency hub comprising of experienced talent from across the marketing and creative industries, has launched. The brainchild of a number of industry experts, TCWX stemmed from a desire to offer clients a completely bespoke team as unique as their every brief without having to pass on the overhead costs that come with large, multidisciplinary agencies. TCWX’s network of skills includes Marketing and Brand Strategy; Creative Direction; Graphic Design; Digital Design; Photography; Video Production; Copywriting; Social Media; PR; Events; Product Design; 3D Environment Design and Retail Design.
“As MD of a design agency, I was seeing an increase in clients asking us to provide services beyond our traditional offering,” said Simon Wright, one of the co-founders of The Chemistry Works and Managing Director of Greenwich Design. “Rather than staff up internally in an area that is not necessarily my speciality, I’ve always preferred to collaborate with people I have experience working with, and who I know are experts in their field. TCWX is the crystallisation of that idea – a talented group of specialists who, when they come together, ignite a magical spark that inspires creativity and new thinking. That’s a powerful resource that our clients can now tap into whenever the brief calls for it.”
As the lines between marketing disciplines
have become more blurred there’s an expectation for agencies to up their skill
set and broaden their remit to stay competitive. The Chemistry Works allows
clients to tap into an experienced team of creative professionals who are at
top of their respective games, as and when they need a particular talent.
Unlike commissioning independent freelancers, however, this innovative way of working
harnesses the magic that drives the most successful creative teams – chemistry.
The CWX members chosen to work on any particular brief already have experience
working together as a team; the chemistry between them is tangible resulting in
a collaborative creative process fizzing with energy and inspiration.
