The Advertising Association's UK House Heads to UAE

Little Black Book's Laura Swinton will speak at the event, looking at the challenges the UK and UAE markets face and and what the future holds for advertising

The Advertising Association works closely with the Department for International Trade to promote UK advertising around the world through our UKAEG community. This year their virtual strategy has secured new business for UK companies in their export community. For example, their efforts in China have secured over £21 million for companies in the community in the past 12 months. Following the success of these events they are now heading on a world tour, hosting virtual opportunities to meet and hear from UK advertising.

Next Tuesday they are opening the virtual doors to UK House at UAE – where UK and the UAE advertising industries come together to meet and share ideas and you can sign up to attend here

Little Black Book's Laura Swinton is one of the speakers taking part in the event. Join Laura online Tuesday October 19th at 11am (BST)/ 2pm (GST) for 90 minutes of high-quality discussion and presentations by leaders and innovators from the UK and the UAE based advertising industry.

UK house is all about dialogue between UAE and UK stakeholders - specifically focussing on the role of the advertising industry on the transformation of retail and the future of travel. The line-up includes; 

• The new MENA traveller, a NEW white paper on the consumers driving the travel industry’s recovery presented by Natalie Amos, practice director at Four Communications

Peyman Rashid Al Awadhi, CEO New Media Academy and Louise Roberts, MD, MullenLowe Profero, UAE discuss the challenges and opportunities for our industries post pandemic with Laura Swinton, editor in chief and MD at Little Black Book – LBBOnline.

• Finding Ras Al Khaimah with #iFoundRAK"- a presentation looking at how to use data driven creative to reach and engage audiences, presented by Saleem Sharma, Director of Social Media at Crowd. 

These sessions are open to everyone to attend and you can sign up to attend here. There is no cost to attend the event.

Plus there’s networking to meet potential new business partners from across the UK and the UAE. 

And UK House stays open all day for viewing of our showcase of UK Cannes Lions winners and agency showcases.
