New York based Animation Production Company Blacklist has signed Tendril US representation.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Tendril is a director-driven workshop where designers and artists from diverse backgrounds employ a wide range of techniques to craft powerful visual experiences.
Launched in 2010 by Brazilian-Canadian directorial team Chris Bahry and Alexandre Torres, Tendril has grown into a full-service visual design and animation studio which thrives on bringing a project to life from the initial concept through to design, execution and delivery. With a thirst for high production value honed by years working for a wide range of international client and their own program of experimental works, Tendril are equally comfortable behind a camera directing live action as they are hunched over their sketchbooks, designing, writing, or delving into complex 3D graphics or visual effects.
Tendril has worked on notable projects for Nike, Bluecross Blue-Shield, Adidas , Coke, Samsung, Hershey’s, Warner Bros.,The Discovery Channel, Japan Railways, National Geographic Channel, CBC, Bell Canada and WWF. Since joining Blacklist, Tendril has completed campaigns for the US market for US Cellular, via Riney, and Comcast via The Martin Agency.
“We're delighted that Tendril had decided to join the Blacklist family,” says Andrew Linsk, Executive Producer, Blacklist. “They're an amazingly talented group of folks, and are quite perfect for capturing many of the high end design driven projects that we see on a regular basis. Also, because Tendril is based in Toronto, they are very accessible for agency collaboration in either New York or LA.”
