Telia’s Witty Ad Series Demonstrates That Quality Really Matters

Some Films joined forces with Swedish director duo RBG6 and production designer Nerijus Narmontas to build some quirky looking sets for the production of a recent Telia campaign. Truth, the creative agency behind the concept, set out to compare Telia’s service quality with that of its competitors in Lithuania.

Though fairly straightforward at its core – a dull Roy Anderson-inspired world inhabited by people unaware of better existing possibilities vs. a quirky lush Telia world where everything just works – the idea required masterful execution to work as it was intended and serve as a playful reminder that quality matters.

Opting for a studio shoot gave the team full control of the worlds depicted in the ads. The result is a reality detached from domestic realism, which creates highly stylised environments that bring the service quality metaphor to life.
