TBWA\London’s #ForChristmasSake Is Aiming to Raise Money for the Refugee Crisis

And this year, TBWA\London has decided to share with us a digital card depicting the Nativity Scene – illustrated by the talented David Doran.

It’s Christmas 2015 and yet many Middle Eastern families are still looking for shelter.

Using the agency’s Disruption Live program, creative team Sabine Haddad and Claire Guiller tackle a ‘trending’ problem and create a Christmas card with real Christmas values: #ForChristmasSake.

Forchristmassake.org illustrates the message in the simplest way, with an image representing Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus at first but on a second glance a family of refugees in their tents. You don’t have to be religious to understand the importance of perspective in this beautiful message.

Deprived from any political message, the card’s goal is simply to encourage people to be a little more human this Christmas and help those who need it the most. You will be able to donate from the website to help the UNHCR – The UN Refugee Agency provides those in need with tents, blankets, heaters, and other essentials to survive the winter.
