Social intelligence and influencer discovery platform Tagger Media has appointed Kim Garcia as its new chief marketing officer. Based in Santa Monica and reporting to CEO Dave Dickman, Garcia will manage global cross-channel marketing, digital media, content, social, and experience at Tagger. She also joins the company's executive leadership team.
"Kim's experience building best-in-class teams and scaling startups will play a key role in Tagger into a global brand," said Dickman.
Previously, Garcia spent seven years as senior vice president of VaynerMedia, where she developed the entertainment vertical working with clients such as USA Network, Syfy, Nickelodeon, Bravo, E!, Top Rank Boxing, and CNBC. During her tenure, she launched VaynerExperience, the agency’s first foray into live events, and served as GM of GrapeStory, the company’s sister influencer agency. Garcia also sits on the board of GoDisco, an app that helps users find fun things to do in their cities where she previously served as CMO and works as an independent strategic consultant and advisor to start-ups, 500 brands, and celebrity talent.
Added Garcia: "Since its inception, Tagger has remained an important tool and my arsenal and [made me] a smarter marketer. As the creator economy continues to grow, now marks the right moment to continue infusing innovative thinking into the influencer space."view more - PeopleFlight PR, Wed, 15 Jun 2022 07:08:00 GMT
