Creative agency Supermoon announced today that it has tapped a former partner of Deutsch LA, Kyle Acquistapace, as its new president.
Acquistapace will handle day-to-day operations and business development at Supermoon. A 16-year veteran of Deutsch LA, most recently as partner and director of media and data strategy, Acquistapace played a crucial role in guiding Deutsch LA’s growth and culture. Supermoon’s founder, Amir Haque, will take the role of CEO.
“Kyle’s take on leadership is hands-on and human, a perfect match for Supermoon,” Haque says. “He’s a champion of a disciplined form of advertising: creative and strategic, and always in the service of building a brand’s business.”
Acquistapace joins three Deutsch LA veterans, who were founding partners at Supermoon: executive creative director David DeRoma, director of strategy Jill Burgeson, and group account director Nicole Rowett.
“I wanted to help create something great again, surrounded by passionate people who trust each other,” Acquistapace says. “I believe there’s an evolved form of agency out there waiting to be built, an agency based on creativity and reason and fairness. And I’ve found the right group of people to bring it to life.”
