Subway Takes You to Strange New Places in Surreal New Campaign

mcgarrybowen in partnership with integrative commercial company CAROUSEL brings on this new quirky and surreal Subway commercials full of some VFX work that takes the already energetic brand to some much, much weirder places.

Editor Tina Mintus and her team of veteran VFX creative director, Mike McKenna and editor assistant, John McMinn created a whole new landscape and visually compelling atmosphere for Subway’s new campaign. With a roll-out of three commercials, 'Happy Place', 'Hover' and 'Not Weird' carries on Subways tradition of humorous campaigns.

'Happy Place' brings in a heavy VFX production, done in 2D/3D, Mike McKenna created the entire sub world of meatballs, marinara ingredients, including the marinara waterfall, the style syncing up perfectly with the lighthearted tone of the campaign.
