Strange Beast's Kyle Platts Teams with Wasted for Radical Skate Apparel Collection

Kyle Platts recently teamed up with Wasted Paris to create a collection of skate apparel and a board for the French brand. After meeting at Be-Street weekend in 2014, where Kyle was painting a mural and Wasted had a stall selling merchandise, they got talking and the collaboration sprung from there.

Kyle has combined his signature style and love for skating to come up with something extra special, familiar cartoon characters with a dark twist and mother nature taking some pretty brutal revenge. According to Kyle, “It was a totally open brief but I created a little narrative which consisted of trees cutting down lumberjacks, a little role reversal. The graphics all stem from these characters and this idea”.
